Welcome to Leanne's Cockatiels!!

Located on the Northside of Brisbane, QLD Australia, my aviaries are dedicated only to the breeding of Cockatiels and to furthering the quality of this beautiful species as both Pet and Aviary Birds.

My main breeding lines are Cinnamon, Whiteface, Pastelsilver & Pastelface with Pearl & Pied combinations also available. However, I do keep the majority of Cockatiel mutations and have various colours available throughout the year in both Pet Cockatiels and Breeders. The latest addition to my aviary is the Olive mutation.

My hand reared Pet Cockatiels are taken from their parents around 3-4 weeks of age. I believe that taking the birds any earlier is only detrimental to their health and that they don't receive the necessary nutrients that only their parents are capable of giving. If there are any issues in the early stages, then I will always try to foster the babies to another pair first before bringing them in for hand rearing. No matter how good a hand rearing formula claims to be, it cannot compare to what a parent gives.

I do not accept deposits on any of my hand raised Pet Cockatiels. I will always put the well being of the bird before any sale and as such no Pet Cockatiel is available for purchase until completely weaned and able to feed on their own for at least a week with no feedings provided by myself. With many factors involved with the successful breeding of quality Cockatiels ie fertile eggs, incubation, rearing etc, I feel it is unethical for me to accept any down payments.
